Iwatsuki is a historic town. You will find many buildings designated as National Registered Tangible Cultural Properties, as well as numerous shrines and temples. During the festival, you can enjoy the beautiful collaboration of these historic structures and Hina dolls.

Iwatsuki is a town of artisans. Under the guidance of authentic doll makers, you can experience making “Kimekomi” dolls or painting your own Hina dolls.

Iwatsuki flourished as both a castle town and a post station. Many historic restaurants and traditional sweet shops offer exclusive “Hina Meguri” lunches and sweets available only during this period.

From Omiya Station (Saitama): Take the Tobu Urban Park Line. It is about 12 minutes (6 stops) by local train. If taking the Express, Iwatsuki is the first stop after Omiya.
★By Car★
Approximately 1.5 km from the Iwatsuki Interchange (Tohoku Expressway).
★From Kawaguchi / Akabane area★
Take the Kokusai Kogyo Bus from Urawa-Misono Station (Saitama Railway) to Iwatsuki Station (approx. 30 mins).
The Iwatsuki Community Bus is convenient for visiting the Iwatsuki Ningyo Museum and Jionji Kannon (operates hourly on weekdays).
Rental/Share cycles are also available at 17 locations throughout the city.
