【Dates】Saturday, February 21, 2026 – Sunday, March 8, 2026
【Location】Shopping streets around the East Exit of Iwatsuki Station
【Hours】From 10:00 AM (Closing times vary by participating shop and venue)

【Viewing (Miru)】

Merchant House Hina Doll Tour
Dolls will be displayed at approximately 60 participating shops across various shopping districts (Ekimae-dori, Ichijuku-dori, Ichibangai, Chuo-dori, Sakaecho, Nakamachi, Tanka, and Shiyakusho-dori).
Station Front Information Center: Managed by the Iwatsuki Volunteer Tour Guide Association. They provide guidance for visitors, including “Inbound Guides in English and Japanese.”

②Special Exhibition Venues
Museums: Suzuki Brewery Museum, Tōgyoku Doll Museum.
Special Hina Doll Displays: Hisaizu Shrine, Ryotei Hoteiya, Ryotei Funamata, Suzuki Brewery Museum, niwasakicafe Iwasaki (irregular holidays).
Hina Etegami (Picture Postcard) Exhibition: Honcho Community Center (2nd floor of Iwatsuki Library).
Dolls from Edo to Showa Eras & Creative Hanging Doll Exhibition: Tōgyoku Taishokan (TBD).
Iwatsuki Historical Photo Exhibition & Treasures: Yakumo Shrine.
Mirokumitsu-ji Temple: Temple of the “Doll Master” (Admission: 100 yen).

③ Stamp Rally
Collect stamps to receive an original clear folder upon completion.

①Iwatsuki Doll Museum Collaboration Events
Hina Doll Painting Experience: Saturday, February 21.
Kimekomi (Tucked-fabric) Doll Making: Monday, February 23 (Public Holiday).
Venue: Iwatsuki Doll Museum Meeting Room.

②Hanging Doll (Tsurushi-bina) Workshop
Dates: Saturday, February 28 & Saturday, March 7.

Venue: Iwatsuki Community Center Meeting Rooms A/B.

 

③Hina Market & Kimekomi Strap Workshop
Date: Sunday, March 1.

Venue: Inside the Hina Market at Crescent Mall (Fee: 500 yen).

【Eating (Taberu)】

Participating restaurants and confectioneries will offer limited-time special menus and Iwatsuki-themed dishes available only during the festival period.

①Opening Event (Sunday, February 22)
●Festive performances (Yosakoi dance, Japanese Taiko drums, etc.).
●Hina Doll Parade & Opening Ceremony: 1:00 PM – 1:45 PM.

② Atago Shrine Grand Hina Step DisplayDates: Feb 21, 22, 23, 28, and March 1.
A massive display of Hina dolls on the shrine steps.

③Creative Hina Doll Exhibition by Elementary StudentsDates: Saturday, February 21 – Tuesday, February 24.
Venue: Wats East Building, Wats Rooms A/B.

④ Hina Market (Sunday, March 1, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
※Venue: Iwatsuki Station Crescent Mall.

Concurrent Event: Tamakochi Festa (Handmade craft market).

Machikado Hina Tour Photo Contest
●Shooting Deadline: March 8 / Submission Deadline: March 11.

●Judging: March 13 / Award Ceremony: March 15.
